History:
Following the bird flu in 2003, the Dutch Poultry Centre (DPC) foundation was established in 2005 to stimulate cooperation in the Netherlands and to become more effective internationally.
Today DPC is a leading network & knowledge organization with 90 members covering the full supply chain from breeding and hatcheries to feed, housing systems, animal health, processing, logistics, and related services.

Vision:
DPC contributes to a Dutch poultry sector that is not only economically strong and future-proof, but also socially responsible, innovative, and internationally leading.

Mission:
• DPC contributes to connecting parties within and outside the sector to promote knowledge,
  innovation, and collaboration.
• We focus on professional expertise to continuously improve the quality, efficiency, and sustainability
  of the sector.
• By actively maintaining international relations and promoting “The Dutch Approach,” we strengthen
the position of the Dutch poultry sector worldwide.
• At the same time, we stimulate innovation, education, and sustainable development, ensuring the
sector remains future-proof and socially responsible.
