Meyn introduces the Maestro M4.0 Pro Series at VIV Europe, built around the new Eviscerator Prime and designed to deliver consistent, high-quality evisceration performance across a wide weight range with minimal adjustment and reduced maintenance.

At the heart of the new series is the Eviscerator Prime, developed for high-volume, automated giblet harvesting. Its spring-loaded mechanical design enables the system to adapt across varying bird weights without frequent recalibration, maintaining stable performance under changing conditions. The machine delivers an evisceration rate of over 99% across birds with up to 20% weight variation.

The Eviscerator Prime has been extensively tested and validated under real operating conditions, demonstrating consistently stable performance with limited need for operator intervention or maintenance.

With the Maestro M4.0 Pro Series, Meyn takes a broader approach to performance. Consistent evisceration is not only determined by the machine itself, but by the process surrounding it. The new series extends control across the evisceration line, enabling more stable, predictable results.

“We reached a point where further improvements were no longer about the eviscerator alone,” said Mark de Jong, Product Manager at Meyn. “With the Maestro M4.0 Pro Series, we optimize the full process around it—so the system performs consistently under all conditions.”

This integrated approach translates into practical benefits for operations. Settings can be stored and recalled based on breed and average live weight, allowing operators to adjust the evisceration line at the push of a button. The system is designed to deliver consistent hygiene performance with less effort and reduced variability.

Maintenance requirements have also been reduced through simplified mechanics, a divisible shaft and fewer wear parts, enabling faster and more efficient servicing.
Safety is a key feature of the Maestro M4.0 Pro Series. The system is designed around the principle “Door open = line off,” while allowing settings to be adjusted externally or automatically during operation.

The series also supports improved resource efficiency and process control. Its control architecture enables integration with advanced software and automation environments. In addition, the optional Water Saving feature can reduce water consumption by up to 15% through automatic on/off control based on bird tracking.

With the Maestro M4.0 Pro Series, Meyn sets the next step in evisceration by combining a new generation eviscerator with full process control.
