To meet these rising demands regarding the animal welfare of broiler chickens, Ravenhorst Transportsolutions launched the first Aircool trailers four years ago, and these are appreciated by customers worldwide. Regardless of external conditions, Aircool creates a constant airflow with the optimal temperature for the broiler chickens. In this way, the chickens are protected against the risks of overheating or hypothermia during transport.
To also offer also a solution to make existing trucks and semi-trailers suitable for temperature-controlled transport, we are now introducing the Aircool Container. This Aircool Container is placed on the semi-trailer in place of two standard broiler chicken modules. This makes the system compatible with all major providers of slaughter transport systems such as Marel, Meyn, and Linco. In combination with a set of modified tarpaulins, this offers slaughterhouses and transport companies the opportunity to convert their existing fleet into temperature-controlled trailers. The patented Aircool container is a fully self-supporting unit, including its own drive, ventilation, cooling, etc. The unit can be monitored via a connection to an online portal, and temperatures can also be read out, ensuring compliance with the latest requirements in this field.
